I was awaken early in the morning by my sister.My aunt called to fetch my grandma and bring her to SGH.Uncle just had his bypass done ytd and he is in full recovery.He was still in CTICU this morning when we arrived.I thank Allah swt for allowing the operation to run smoothly.Alhamdulillah,praises to God.
He could recognize us.He was able to eat too! But he just dont have the appetite.He appeared semi-conscious due to the anasthesia and morphine. I really hope he would have no problems later on. It sure did test the family's bond. Usually when things happen,we know who would stand by our side. I didnt mind sacrificing time for my aunt and granny. I didnt even mind giving emotional support. I did what I had too and I am happy that everything went well for uncle.
Swine Flu has caused such pandemic that it affected me too.My family would not be able to come down to visit my uncle.Now only 4 person closest to him can only be allowed to see him. If not,no one would be advised to visit their relatives. It caused quite unhappiness amongst the adults,but hey,hospital protocol.I can understand that,but perhaps the staff could have been better in advising others. A little kindness wouldnt hurt right?
I intended to make it a short post but hey,it's quite a chunk.Tmr onwards I wont be going to the hospital.It's ok.The lesser people,the more uncle can recuperate.
